Art, food for the hungry mind:

Concept Art - A nice little web community filled to the brim with lots of talented artists - some of the stuff there is amazing!

The Structure of Man - A blog by a generous man named Riven Phoenix who made circa 200 video tutourials on how to draw the human form. I had long scoured for books and information pertaining to this, but I was never able to find one until I found a link to it on the conceptart.org forums. And I've been drawing the human form ever since, and this has also piqued my interest in studying the human anatomy as well.

Skepticism, religion, you know - the stuff that's better than sex:

The James Randi Education Foundation - Excellent website, I read it every week for Randi's commentary. The foundation is notable for its challenge of giving US $1,000,000 to anyone who can prove, in the website's words, "have super powers". Such as dowsing, remote viewing, bending spoons with your own mind (Ala the fraud Uri Geller - who can never seem to bend the spoon without having to touch it with his hands). Whilst some believers will dismiss the challenge, saying that Randi is a fraud and that he never intends to hand the money over in the event of someone proving that they have superpowers - the challenge is bona fide, and the money is in escrow. Besides, in the event that someone succeeded in the challenge, and the JREF didn't hand the money over, they could sue the JREF for even more money. But of course, no one has ever won the challenge or even passed the preliminary test - since the supernatural, by definition, doesn't and can't exist.

The Secular Web - A website mainly focused on atheism and free thought, I go from time to time, not nearly as often as I used to, as they say, the website is already preaching (atheism and free thought) to the choir (me). But I'm just including it here in the case someone wants to learn more about atheism and wanted a good site to go to. As a sidenote, I can imagine some people might see me and my late father's trips to North Korea, and then conclude that all communists are atheists, and vice versa, and that me and my father were/are communists. That is not the case. As the saying goes, all communists are atheists, but not all atheists are communists. Me and my late father are very much liberatian capitalists, with a hint of socialism in the mix. The atheists I have met over the internet are pretty much divided 50/50 between conservatives and liberals.

The Skeptic's Dictionary - An excellent resource on anything supernatuarl and paranormal. The library is extensive, and very educational. You can find pretty much everything regarding that particular field. Ranging from Atlantis, Roswel, Crop Circles, Dowsing, etc. But of course, as hinted in the link, this website has a skeptical perspective.

Quack Watch - Another excellent website, regarding medicine and quackery in the medical field. The website is extensive, and is a must read for anyone thinking of, or is undergoing, Alternative medical treatments, and wants a clearer picture of what they are getting themselves into, such as Homeopathy and Chiroquackery.

The Skeptic's Annotated Bible - A useful website, gives a commentary on the Bible, as well as the Qu'ran and the Book of Mormon, from an atheist/skeptical perspective.

Skeptic Report - A website run by a Danish fellow named Claus Flodin Larsen, whom I've met on the JREF forums, as well as the 3rd Amazing! Meeting hosted by the JREF in January each year. It is updated monthly, but sometimes there are long periods when there is no update. A good website for sitting down one evening to casually read.

Operation Clambake - A good website exposing the cult of $cientology as to what it really is - A group of crooks who use the guise of religion as their modus operandi to steal and coerce money away from unsuspecting and gullible followers and to gain tax exempt status, all just for the purpose of making more money. And to that end, the cult has been quite successful - using tactics such as "converting" Hollywood Celebrities like Tom Cruise (Who, as most sane and intelligent people know and have observed, "Jumped the couch" a while ago on Oprah (The term "Jumped the couch" is a deviation of "Jumped the Shark" - which is a phrased used to say when a TV series or a show has irrevocably gone downhill in terms of quality. "Jumped the couch" pretty much means that you've lost your sanity and grip on reality)) and building large scale "Celebrity Centers" to cater to those celebrities, in order to market the celebrities and cult to fans of said celebrities to get them to join the cult, and thus, give more money into the monstrous cult which goes to lining David Miscavige's pockets. The cult is also quite litigious, and will happily sue their opponents and critics in attempts to silence them - so if this link on my website goes down mysteriously, you'll know the reason.
